Before, during and after demonstrations, take necessary precautions such as shortening business and office hours, suspending operations and evacuating to safe locations. Ensure full compliance with laws in daily operations, especially in hiring and employment practices, so as to avoid becoming targets of protests. In case of emergencies, stay calm and rational. When personal safety is guaranteed, report to local police immediately and seek assistance from Chinese diplomatic missions and the Police-Civilian Liaison Center.
