Astana, June 22 (Xinhua) - The "Silk Road Integration: Building a China Central Asia Community of Shared Future and Working Together to Address World Changes Forum" was held on June 22 in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan. The attending guests believe that China attaches great importance to the development of artificial intelligence, and Central Asian countries also regard digital technology and artificial intelligence as important supports for national modernization. The cooperation prospects between the two sides in the field of artificial intelligence are broad.

Artificial intelligence is not only a technological trend, but also a powerful tool for driving transformation in various fields such as education, healthcare, energy, and national governance. When used correctly and legitimately, artificial intelligence can significantly accelerate the achievement of sustainable development goals. "Toshil Majidov, Vice President of Academic Affairs and First Vice President of Tajikistan Technical University, said that from 2023 to 2024, Tajikistan actively promotes a digital transformation strategy, which includes the formation of key capabilities in the field of artificial intelligence and the development of related infrastructure.

Yang Jin, Deputy Director of the Central Asia and Caucasus Research Office at the Institute of Russian, Eastern European, and Central Asian Studies of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, and Deputy Secretary General of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Research Center of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, believes that Central Asian governments have established specialized agencies or committees to promote artificial intelligence and digital economy policies, actively introducing intelligent solutions in fields such as education, healthcare, transportation, and energy. China and the five Central Asian countries have their own strengths in the fields of artificial intelligence and digital economy, and are all planning for future development, with a solid foundation and enormous potential for in-depth cooperation.

Strengthening cooperation between China and Central Asian countries in the field of artificial intelligence has become a consensus among the attending guests. The development of artificial intelligence cannot be separated from dialogue and communication. Tajikistan Technical University is actively strengthening its international connections. For us, cooperation with Chinese universities is particularly important because China occupies a leading position in multiple aspects of this field, "said Majidov.

Kazakhstan's National Information Network attaches great importance to digital transformation and the application of artificial intelligence technology. In 2024, it established an Artificial Intelligence Advisory Committee, launched training courses, and adopted automated artificial intelligence solutions in editing and analysis processes. The chairman of the company, Aina Zadabek, said, "We are willing to exchange experiences in creating intelligent platforms, especially in fields such as education. Jointly developing digital products will open up new areas of cooperation between us

The attendees believe that in the context of the booming digital economy, cooperation in emerging fields represented by artificial intelligence will become a new growth point for China Central Asia cooperation.
